Dark Blue Forage Cap ("Bummer") style with minimum hat brass (Mid/Late War Impression) or with folowing hat brass - Infantry Bugle, Number "1" & Letter "A" (Early/Mid War Impression)

Acceptable:
Soft Black Felt "Slouch" Hat of period style (Mid/Late War Impression) or Enlisted Soldier's Hardee Hat with Blue Hat Cord, Infantry Bugle, Number "1", Letter "A", Jefferson Eagle and a single Black Plume (Early War Impression)

Mixed Gray Forage Cap or any period headgear with little or no Hatbrass

COAT


Prefered:
Enlisted Soldier's Dark Blue Frock Coat with 9-Button, Single Breasted with Sky-Blue Infantry Trim/Piping (Early War Impression)
